• Qualifications : PhD in Geophysics/Physics with theses topic on Electronics (thesis submitted/awarded).
  Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with R&D work experience in Earthquake Seismology. Knowledge of handling seismological software and expertise related to estimation of Crustal velocity structure/waveform modelling/Anisotropy studies are desirable.
• No. Of Post : 12(6-UR,02-SC,01-ST,3-OBC) Post.
• Age Limit : 32 years.
• Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100, Grade Pay: Rs.6600/-

Application Fee :

An application fee of Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) non-refundable is payable in the form of Demand Draft of nationalized bank, payable at SBI, CSIR-NEIST-Jorhat branch code No.5604 with validity of six months in favour“Director, NEIST-Jorhat”. However, candidates belonging to SC /ST, PH and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.

Applications that are incomplete/received after due date /not supported with attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, caste certificates etc,/unsigned/without prescribed application fees etc. will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
