Staff Selection Commission will hold an examination for recruitment to the following posts:

Post: Stenographer Grade-c and Grade-D
Pay Scale:  PB-2 Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs.4600/- for Grade-C and PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- for Grade-D
Qualification: 12th pass
 Age: 18-27 years as on 01^st August, Relaxation in age as per rules.
Date of Examination: 29^th July, 2012.

Application Fee: Rs. 100/-. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman. Fee will be paid only in the form of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” These stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. If you are applying Online, payment can be through Net Banking with SBI.

OR The candidates submitting their applications on-line should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India either in the form of challan or net-banking.

Last date for filling of the application is: 25^th May, 2012 (5PM) (01^st June, 2012 for the candidates of far-flung areas)

Application Procedure: Application in the prescribed format should be send to the Regional / Sub Office of the SSC depending upon the choice of the exam centre by the candidates.

Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) offering PhD studentship for JRFs 2012
Eligibility: Candidate must hold an MBBS, or Master’s degree in life sciences, agriculture, veterinary science, Egineering, or pharmacy. Only candidates holding a Junior Research fellowship (JRF) from CSIR-UGC, DBT or ICMR are eligible to apply. Candidates must have first division/class with at least 60% aggregate scores in all examinations from class 10 onwards. All educational and technical qualifications should be from a recognized university/board.
How to apply: Candidates fulfilling the above requirements may apply in the prescribed format to the Administrative Officer (P&A) of the institute at the above address. The application form can be downloaded from http://www.thsti.res.in. Last date for receipt of applications is 31st May, 2012. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained on any ground including postal delay. Incomplete applications in any respect will be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Selection procedure: Candidates will be competitively short-listed based on the excellence of their academic records and the list of short-listed candidates will be published on THSTI website by 4th June 2012. Short-listed candidates will be called for an interview on 25th June, 2012. List of selected candidates for the PhD studentship will be published on THSTI website by 28th June, 2012. Selected candidates will be required to join the Ph.D. program of the institute on 10th July, 2012. Hostel facility is available for the institute.
