Job Details: The Omnibus Industrial Development
Corporation of Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli Ltd. (OIDC) is
a Govt. Undertaking engaged in activities like Housing, Infrastructure
Development, Industrial Estates, Tourism, Business of quality liquor,
etc. For proper execution and timely completion of the all construction
work of OIDC, one post of Chief Engineer (Civil) in the payband Rs..
37,400 – 67,000 with Gradepay Rs..8700/- is to be filled up by transfer
on deputation initially for a period of one year which may be extended
as per the rules. The criteria for eligibility for appointment by
transfer on deputation are, the officer of the Central/State Govts/Union
Territories/Autonomous Undertaking.
a) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre /
department, or i) With three years of regular service in the post of
Superintending Engineer in the payscale of Rs..15,600-39,100 with grade
pay Rs.7600/- or equivalent, or ii) With nine years of regular service
in the scale of pay of Rs.15,600-39,100 or with grade pay Rs. 6600
equivalent in the parent cadre department.And b) Possessing at least a
Degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized university or equivalent
with 60% marks and above with minimum fifteen years experience in
design/ construction of infrastructure, housing and allied activities.
(The departmental officer in the feeder category who is in the direct
line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment
on deputation. Similarly deputations shall not be eligible for
consideration for appointment by promotion)
